At the general
membership meeting of the Pro 4 Modifieds on November 23,
2008, the membership by unanimous vote adopted the fight
against breast cancer as the official
charity of the Pro 4 Modifieds. During the 2009-racing
season we will
promote the fight against Breast Cancer at all the tracks
the Pro-4’s race at leading up to the 4-Cylinder
Nationals. At the 4 Cylinder Nationals on August 2, 2009
at the Beechridge Motor Speedway we
will culminate our breast cancer fundraising campaign with
a walk-a-thon from 8-11 AM around the 1/3 mile Beechridge
Motor Speedway. Following a great day
of racing our final event will be a powder puff race by
the family members of the Pro 4's using the Pro 4 Modifieds.
Our breast
cancer fundraising weekend begins with “Ride for A
Cure” on Saturday, August 1, 2009 from Bentley’s
Saloon in Arundel, ME. Please refer to the link
